A couple of questions regarding gaming partnership specifics. I'm currently a YouTube partner, and have been offered a partnership with a gaming company (not Machinima). Do all companies have contracts with the gaming companies so you can upload content to YT?

To clarify, I understand that Machinima being the largest of all partnership organizations has contracts with all of the major gaming companies, which allows user generated content to be uploaded. How does it work with the smaller partnership companies? Does Machinima have exclusive rights with Activision, Rockstar, and Ubisoft?

If I sign with a non-Machinima group will I still be able to upload my content without having to worry about copyright issues? :confused:

Well, it veries with different groups. You will need to talk to them and see if they allow you to post your own videos too. I've seen people submit things on Machinima before, but also had it on their channel too.
 
So I guess to clarify...my buddy has a couple of channels. He tried to upload a Farcry 3 video to one of his channels but was forced to take it down because that channel did not have an agreement with Ubisoft.

He could post it to his Machinima channel though, because Machinima has an agreement with Ubisoft.

Do we know, or have a list of who has partnerships with who?

Example (I'M MAKING THIS UP FOR EXAMPLE ONLY):
Machinima - Activision, Ubisoft, Rockstar
RPM - Activision
TGN - Ubisoft, Rockstar
etc.....

And I agree.....why don't we take this thread in that direction.

I don't have too much knowledge in this field, but I do know that Machinima's core business allows it to have massive contracts with the majority of video game companies out there.

Machinima currently holds the most agreements with video game companies and I am unaware of any companies it is not partnered with.

Machinima is in a state atm, I`d hold off going there atleast for a while
