Partnered but not monetizing?

Doom Video Vault

I Love YTtalk
I am curious on how many users here are with a network but choose willingly not to monetize their content and not because of legal nonsense?

I'm not with a network on this channel but on my old one i was offered to be a part of a network but i didn't join because i didn't want to monotise my videos and i already had all the partner features

networks are their for you to make money and be more protected from copyright and stuff, So if someone isn't monetizing they don't understand how joining a network works ha ha.

In the not very distant past (i.e. until about 2 weeks after I joined a network ) there were all of the extra channel banner features etc. So if you just wanted a better looking channel then that would be a reason to join a network, even if you weren't interested in monetizing.

Now there isn't a lot of point joining a network without monetizing, because if you aren't monetizing your videos the network will have no interest in promoting them, no matter how big your channel is.

I would like to join a network, but I don't think my channel is in the right spot yet to be in one.

Ya you aren't really in a good spot to go into a network. About 90% of people one here should avoid networks. I would wait till 50k monthly views minimum. Even then you aren't going to make much money at all.

When you hit something like 100k views monthly then you are doing pretty good (not reall really good, but pretty good). It's not the subs you look at, but the views for network stuff. Subs are just for show.

I do want to join a network eventually, tho I still feel a bit overwhelmed or timid to do more actual LP-style (with commentary). I'm close to 300 subs and I've seen my average daily view count go up since I did more SEO stuff so my content shows up in search results. I'm close to averaging 10,000 views/mo but it fluctuates from 7,000 to 12,000 a month depending on content.

I think adding in Russian Overkill videos brought up my view and sub count a fair bit and will do some WW2-Nazis mod videos eventually to mix content up even more. Maybe even other Doom mods too..

The main reason people join a network is for the better earnings, if you happened to be partnered and not monetizing you either have too much money or just plain wasteful

It's likely because it would take a very long time to even get a check from whoever with my content currently. I average 75-100 views a video but am averaging 200 views a day from everything.
