Partner Networks RPM

Hey guys,

I have been looking a lot on the forum today, and I noticed that almost everybody is signed with a Partner Network. I'm not considering to do this because Adsense is paying me quite good and I want to keep it in my own hands, no contracts etc.

I was wondering what your average RPM/CPM was in your Partnership Network.
Wondering if they pay better then Adsense (in my case)

Thanks, all answers appreciated. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1352631525,1352583227][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyone?

It varies between artist and network but you typically get higher CPM's signing with a network. This is because they work directly with advertisers to put ads on your channel that fit your audience. Because of that, advertisers are willing to pay out more because they are reaching their target audience which equals higher payout for you as the creator.

Hmm I understand, but would't this be a problem because I'm from the Netherlands you think?
I'm not planning to do this but I keep my options open.

Thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1352634898,1352634842][/DOUBLEPOST]Pretty cool channel by the way I like your intro's.[DOUBLEPOST=1352634960][/DOUBLEPOST]You did al those interviews? Amazing quality. Wow.

I don't think it's a problem that you're in the Netherlands. I know that some of Machinima and FullScreen's artists are located outside the US.

And thanks for the kind words about my channel. The channel belongs to the online magazine I know http://www.newmediarockstars.com. We focus on putting out news about YouTube and new media as well as tutorials on how to build your brand as an artist online.

Hey, I've read a couple of your posts and I seriously don't understand why you think being from the Netherlands will be a problem and that you get alot of your views from there, shouldn't make much of a difference I would think.
I also remember you saying something about someone advising you not to sign to a network because of your niche, and I don't get that either. I'm assuming your niche is to do with music and if so I think there is probably a lot of opportunities and some networks in that niche that could offer you alot of help/guidance and other benefits. Only problem I could think of in that niche is copyright issues, when for example mixing tracks or something, but I don't know much about that.
But yh if you joined a network, one of the main benefits in monetizing with them is they can target advertisers more specifically for your niche, which would mean those advertisers would probably be bidding higher to display on your videos.

I heard that the partner networks are mostly profiding like ads from the US and stuff. And my viewers are only from Holland...
Maybe I will have to read more about this..

It doesn't matter where you are from with the CPM rates. They are the same for everybody. They only difference really would be with the currency exchange rate.
I am from South Africa, and am partnered with Fullscreen..
they partner anyone

But I only need dutch advertisers because it's the only language in my videos. Would like Fullscreen over lots of those advertisement?

the thing is, your videos are not only being shown in netherlands..
