Rip the Script

Mr. Sarcasm
SO I recently helped a filmmaker friend of mine on a short-film he directed, and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Hope you all enjoy it.

Wow @Rip the Script that was really, really, really good! I am seriously impressed.

Things I liked:
  • The explosion intro is genius. That always gets attention.
  • The concept was cool, the execution really well done. The shadow always looked like a shadow.
  • It told a cool story with great lighting, effects, music, and video quality.

Things I think could be improved:
  • A few slow points. Probably a little too much 'dead air.' Him walking, him playing shadows with an honest shadow.
  • The actual video ends at like 4:12. The credits are so long that it goes over another minute, which I think always looks bad. Fewer people will click on a video that is 5 minutes than 4.
  • The sudden introduction of screaming when the shadow reaches out was something I didn't like. Earlier, when the shadow jumped up and scared him, the music played a loud note. The screams later were inconsistent, unexpected, and jarring. The visuals themselves were fine at that point.

Good job! You should be proud being a part of that!
