Option to choose which ad to watch?

I was watching some random gaming vids and just before one of them some kind of menu popped up (with countdown) which gave me a choice to watch one of 2 types of ads. Sadly I closed the window by accident and can't find it anymore. But I'm sure it was not a hallucination :wacky2:
Which network uses such ads?
 
I'm sure its limited testing currently.

YouTube is constantly testing new features like this with a subset of users to see how it performs.
 
I'm assuming you are talking about these:

They aren't new but are mostly shown on long content and rarely.
 
I have seen them a couple of times. I bet they get much higher CPMs, because the user is more involved. Hulu has been using these for a long time. I think KGATV may be right that you need a longer video to use these. :)

Yeah that's it. But I saw it on some short video (~5min) with 600 views lol. Maybe it's exclusive to certain network or content type?

I have never used these ads. I have just seen them around. You get to pick what ad you watch. You can usually either watch a 30 second ad or 2 ads like 15 seconds each.
