Only skip ads?

Hi guys,

Just joined the forum today, so kinda new on this forum. So hi everyone. :)
I'm having this question for a very very long time and it's still irritating me.
I'm monetizing my videos for 5 months now, I'm not an official partner but getting quite good views. I see a lot of channels with pre-roll ads you can't skip. I can never get those ads, while others can.

- Has this anything to do with the official partnership (banner, benefits etc.)
- Could it be that i haven't got enough views? Or because I'm from the Netherlands? Because I see lots of Dutch ''real partnership'' channels who CAN get those long ads.
- Is it about the advertisers? Because I have good material, good views.. only getting those 5 sec skip ads..

When partnered you can choose different ad formants
All the ads that come up in the videos are completely random.
You may not see the non skip adverts, but someone somewhere in the world will see it.

Are you sure?
Because I have a lot of friends also watching ofcourse.. and they also never see it.
I guess if I had non-skip ads my CPC, CTR etc. would be MUCH higher.
So can I do anything to like.. attract those advertisers?

I have pre-rolls. Also overlay's. But not the 10 or 20 second ads you CAN'T skip and yes I wish i had those.
I'm not partnered but monetizing my videos ofcourse and that's wat Youtube calls ''the new partnership'' right..

The strange thing is I can found nothing on the internet about this!
Hope I will get some better advertisers.. Yes I think I would make more money with those non skipperz..
 
I don't think so because I like to have it ''in my own hands'' if you know what I mean.

True-view are worth a lot more in revenue $ than standard in-steam ads. so.. it won't earn you more with standard in-steam ads instead of true-view.
