I've Got It
Is it possible to remove the OneChannel icon? I haven't made the switch yet, but have noticed that the avatar/icon interferes with certain backgrounds....
 
Since your icon is displayed in the feed when you upload, comment and like things, it will be displayed a lot more than your banner and is much more important. So change your background into something that won't clash with it instead of trying to get rid of the avatar.

good point....still wish there was a way to opt out, or move the location of it.

Right now the layout change is optional, so you can opt out. But once YouTube makes everyone switch over, there is no going back to the old layout
