Noir style short film, check it out!

Nice video, although I feel for a 'film noir' type film you didn't think about how the lighting would look in black and white before you shot this film. I could be wrong, but the whites and very bright and the shadows just don't look right for a noir type film. Maybe a little colour correction could have fixed this?

Apart from that nice short film :)
 
I really liked it, the crane shot was great but the cut to the second shot didn't feel completely right.
The rest of the edit awesome although like Andrew mentioned the black and white lightning didn't really feel right.

But definitely enjoyed watching the whole video. Good job!
 
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I definitely have to work on locking down that noir style next time, I will be sure to take those comments into account!
 
I actually really like noir style films, and this one was pretty good! My biggest criticism is on your next video, try to eliminate that background noise from the shot, audio is important, adding in a room ambience might have worked to hide some of that as well. You can find free stock audio by googling it.

Otherwise great film, I think you're building good editing skill. Keep things rolling!
