Niche network or a general network?

Should I join a niche network or a general network? By niche network I mean the network that I see a lot where people in my niche are in (DIY/How To) or should I try something like Creator X?

I am just planning ahead, I am nowhere near enough for a niche network yet.

I`d suggest if you`re going for a creator x avoid gaming channels but if you`re going for gaming then avoid everyone else.
niches are alright but if it is small then it`s hard to keep within those boundaries.

Go with a major network. Don't go with some network that has 20 channels in it just because it is in your niche. I would go for Fullscreen/Creator X or RPM.

Hey, so I just checked SocialBlade, the niche network that I am interested in has 1300 channels, and the stats are 30 Day views: +260.5M , 30 Day Subs: +3.8M according to Social Blade as of today.

Is this considered as a big network or small? I don't know what stats it is supposed to have to be considered as a big network. Well, the only thing I know is that SocialBlade has over 9000 channels.

What`s the network? and just because a network has alot of channels doesn`t mean it`s good (hinting on AwesomenessTV (15k channels)) some of the biggest networks have >50 channels.

It is StyleHaul. What is wrong with AwesomenessTV? I think I see it popping up a lot too with the videos that I watch.
