As the above title explains I am looking for a collaborator(s) and co-host(s) for a new podcast. The main topic would ideally be about video games and/or movies. Possible segments to include previews, reviews, news updates, occasional off topic banter, and other related ideas (I'm sure you all know the kind of podcast I'm talking about). The podcast would likely be either weekly or every other week in terms of episode output.
I am looking for someone that is 18+ (age is somewhat negotiable based off of maturity and commitment level), someone that can be relied on to do a little research into whatever the episodes topic is, a willingness to discuss the topics, and a general enthusiastic attitude. Previous podcasting experience is of course preferred, but is not required. What is required is a desire to learn the craft and put the necessary time and effort into it.
I'll close with a little information about myself. I'm a 21 year old college student from Kansas City, MO. I have loved listening to podcasts for the last 6-7 years and want to create and produce one. I feel that this can become a great hobby that can lead to bigger things. I created a podcast about the same topic back in 2009, however, only one episode was recorded and published due to several factors including a loss of my co-host and other factors.
Much of what this new podcast will become and how it will be produced are open for discussion between myself and those that become involved in the project. Either reply on this thread or PM me if you are seriously interested and we will get the ball rolling on this!!
