New fact series - needing honest feedback

I'm a film student trying in my spare time to produce content on Youtube that will hopefully allow me to become a partner some day, the keyword there being "hopefully" :p

I use a DSLR to produce my content and have good equipment for sound and editing.

What I want is some honest feedback about my channel and my "What the Fact" videos. I'm also currently producing random videos such as a parody of "Garbage Day" just for kicks but to also help with my viewership.

I would love some honest, perhaps harsh, critical feedback as I want my niche market to be about facts but is that strong enough???

Thank you for reading all of this!

I cant fault your video quality, editing, lighting, acting nor animation, you have got everything right there and your videos are very pleasant and entertaining to watch.

Regarding your niche, it is something that I cant imagine many people searching for naturally on YouTube, maybe Google but not on there and it is always best to have things people search for although that doesnt really apply with comedy and comedy tends to go viral naturally if it is good and your series is funny but relying on that happening is going to be hard on you. Review type channels do especially good because of this, I know for me personally whenever I consider buying a new product I either search for it being unboxed or reviewed and thats why niches like reviews do so well, people are always searching them and have a need for it, the same with pregnancy related things, people are always having kids, if you can find a niche where people are constantly searching for related things where the market wont die off then that would really pay off when it comes to views.

You could perhaps change your videos direction as time goes on, you have a generic channel name so you arent stuck with one thing forever, it isnt like you have WhatTheFact or something more tieing.

I think doing some vlogs with all those who are in the videos could help with people getting to know you all and perhaps some behind the scenes videos with a few laughs in there would be good for your audience.

I know its not much but I hope that helps in some way or another and good luck with your channel and videos :)

thanks for responding so quickly, I'll definitely take what you said into consideration, as you say my channel name isn't specific so I'm not stuck with just doing fact videos. Luckily I have plans to upload more "comedic" vids outside of the fact series, so hopefully that will expand my viewership....as long as their funny haha.
