Network without a fix cpm

Hey boys and girls.

Ive got some Invitations and now Im in my desicion stage.

one of the networks say this to me: "We do not lock partners into a CPM as it is a disservice to the partner."

is this normal? sounds a bit ominous to me.

Im not gonna lie, that sounds like they will offer you less to nothing. I wouldn't trust it. what Network is it?

95% of networks don`t, I think fixed CPMs are a bit of a scam really.

Hey, that sounds like 85% net is lesser than 85 gross?

i dont understand it. i thought net is my payout. net = the amount of money after youtube & network take his portion?
so i would think 85% gross is lesser, cause of they take there portion and than give me my ..?

can you explain it please if you know it better?
