Need some help

Hi guys,

I recently applied for monetization and got the first email back from adsense. The adsense account thing is approved all I need to do now is follow the instructions they sent me. But I have one problem. I am not too keen on my username, it's a bit silly, seeing that I'll be doing videos related to my health changes. What should I do? Do I delete my youtube account or create another account and then re-apply for the adsense thing? Would be good to hear your feedback.

you can link more than one youtube account to an adsense account :) so its no problem for you to make a new channel
 
My channel name makes no sense. lol

I say, as long as it's not a series of curse words, something racist or the such, and doesn't mimic another companies brand, it doesn't really matter.

I read in the YouTube help forums a while back about a guy who was having issues with getting monetization because his channel name illegally used the "VEVO" brand name. That'll hurt chances (and I believe is a violation of the TOS).

Plus, you can re-brand yourself as whatever you want. I have.

Phillip Defrancos (as much as I don't like to reference him) channel name is sxephil. lol

check my channel out please iv only just started and i need subs and views i will check ur channel out i have rubbish quality but soon getting hd camera THANKYOU
