Need some advice on adding chapter links to my video.

Hello everyone. I have a video that is rather long. I would like to have a way for my viewers to jump to different sections of the video i.e. chapters. I would prefer to use annotations and position them at the top of the screen. Does anyone have some pointers?

Annotation timestamps? Not much advice, other than...it's incredibly time consuming! :p
