Need help with Google Adsense

I have been trying to sort out google adsense to start becoming a partner but when i verify my bank it comes up with An error has occured anyone have any ideas as some people have had to do this.

when you verified your bank, did you input your correct name/bank info?
also, they should have deposited some random amount into your bank account, and you have to input that amount in the verification process on adsense for it to get verified.
 
It's a lot of messing around when you first set up adsense but there is usually a red box at the top with an alert telling you what you've left to do. Also as previous replier said check your bank for a deposit this is usually the final stage to confirm your bank account to them.
 
What I recall from Google Adsense was that it was insanely un-userfriendly and counterintuitive. Kind of like their Google Adwords site. Like TheFunny4UTube above said...mess around until you get it. Pretty frustrating.
