no. That is only if you partner with a network. Anyone can get a youtube/adsense partnership even if they have 0 views. Head over to your video manager and click edit beside the video you want to monetize (earn money off). Click monetization under the video preview and check the box. Make sure that you don't monetize anything you don't own all the rights to. This includes video game content. That is one of the benefits of partnering with a network, gaming licenses. Not all networks have them though. But yeah, once you've monetized your videos you need to go to adsense.com and set up payments. The adsense threshold is like $100 before you can get paid I think, or $50. Idk. I can't remember off the top of my head where to add payment methods.
