NEED HELP: Network Selection For "Big" channel

OK my channel is closing in on 200k subs and has over 65 million views. I've been averaging over 1 million views a month despite the fact I didn't upload for over 2 months from the end of January this year. My average monthly views will be back to it's normal 2-3 million plus before long and then will receive a huge boost come November.

In January I was supposed to be the last channel to get into IGN's network. Unfortunately for me I'd a weeks holiday booked for the end of January and then sent their contract to my attorney who recommended some changes. The 6 or 7 changes were made by IGN and a new contract was sent out. This all took about 3 weeks and by the time they'd eventually sent me the revised contract and I'd sent it back they'd received orders from the very top to "under no circumstances partner anybody else". I guess this is to do with the company being bought by new owners.

So I came that close to getting a nice set rate of 2$ per 1000 views no matter what type the views are (monetizable or not) and likewise if they were mobile or not. Damn that stupid holiday although I did get a new girlfriend out of it :mstickle:

So yeah that was heart breaking and coupled with other serious personal issues I gave up on YT for 2 months and wasn't even bothered getting re partnered with Fullscreen or Yeousch.

Now I'm back with Fullscreen which pay the same as being in Yeousch. They are decent and pay better than a lot of networks particularly sub networks.

But it's not enough and if YouTube is to be a full time job of mine and if my channel is going to excell then I need to get a rate similar to the IGN offer. ]

Don't bother mentioning Machinima it's out of the question and the CPM isn't even good. They only pay for monetizable views.

Maker I will consider but not their crappy RPM network. I would like to know if a gaming channel can get with the actual Maker network or just TGS (The GameStation)

And what is the CPM like for those. Can I get a similar deal with them like IGN was offering?

Curse have the 3$ cpm but they only pay for monetizable views so it's really around 1.50$ they pay per 1000 views.

So yeah I'm mainly intersted in Maker, TGS and if anyone knows a hidden underground passage into IGN's now closed for newcomer network let me know.

$2 for 1000 views doesn't seem amazing. Depends on your % monetisable views.

Curse/Union for Gamers offer 90/10 split now and seems to be far and away the best deal for gaming channels.

Aren't you locked into a contract with FS now?

No, I have a lot of contacts in Fullscreen and Yeousch so in January I was able to just leave. I re joined them a few weeks aho on that same basis. As I said getting a guaranteed 2$ per 1000 views was much better than curse's offer of 3$ with their model as they don't pay non monetizable views and most monetizable mobile views generate very little anyway. The guy that owns it ave up trying to get me to join when I mentioned IGN.

Why don't you just join TGS then? Just Apply over there and check out their contract coz looking at your channel size, you will definetly get a place there.
Coming to your IGN post, why don't to mail them? That's what i did and i got a message from them saying i haven't respected their terms so they can't let me in. -_-
But seriously if i was as big as you, i woudn't bother to join a network but since you have gaming network it looks like it is better to be on the SAFE side rather than experimenting :p

So you`re looking for a fixed CPM?

And I don`t know if you`ve heard of Leet79 or Nsquared but they`re both supposed to be great gaming networks ;)

I have mailed them. I was in contact with them. i told you that they are not taking anyone else. Whoever took over the company has shut up shop. TGS I will but I want to know if anyone here has any concrete info on them. Wouldn't mind a heads up before negotiating with them.

https://twitter.com/Atomicpartners Is the network under IGN right?
I heard they still allow partner in, but it`s invite only :p

That's what they say to the public but it really means nobody getting in for a long time. The girl in IGN i used to deal with was fired along with all the other IGN staff that ran the partner recruiting. I've been told by a senior manager that nobody will be recruited for an indefinite amount of time and I'm better looking else where.

Why do you even need to join a network? What are you looking for in exchange for a cut of your earnings?

I'm in a network but want to switch to one where I can make more than $0.5 per 1000 views. IGN's was 4 times that and they pay 2$ per 1000 views no matter what type of views they are (even non-monetizable views). As I said IGN won't be recruiting for a long time so I need to find an alternative. Looks like it's between TGS, Curse and another one I was told of today. Still havn't gotten any concrete info on TGS. Guess I'll have to find it out from them.
