Hello.
Can anybody please give advice on a safe and up-to-date Video Editing program to either buy or download?
I've been doing YouTube videos since the 2010s, but due to updating my computer recently (to Windows 11), I needed to get a new Video Editor. I bought MAGIX, and I've found it's difficult to use, as I can't move the timeline, the way I want to (check the linked video, as it's hard to explain in text.) I've tried Googling, but everything seems to contradict each other.
Here is the video - hope it's understandable, I had to record with a microphone I don't usually use (and also couldn't edit) so feel free to ask if you need something reiterated.
Also, if the program you suggest is pay to download only, could you please specify if you only pay once, or if you have to keep paying a subscription, and if so, how much?
