Need help - Channel with 8,000 Subs

So my channel has a whole bunch of stuff on it, Achievement guides, Easter Eggs, Let's Plays, and other various series and videos. My main audience is Skyrim, and if I make a Skyrim video that's not a straight Let's Play I have no problem getting anywhere between 2,000-3,000 views.

However, I want to get away from Skyrim while simultaneously building my channel, so my latest idea has been to rent the newest games and do Achievement guides and Easter Egg videos on them, like I did most recently with Metro: Last Light.

These videos aren't getting found much in search results, even though I have good meta-data and made them super quick, and my subs don't really watch them at all.

So my question is, do you guys think I should go the straight "gameplay/walkthrough" route like TheRadBrad, or stick with what I'm doing. I would love to do either, but the Achievement guides/Easter Eggs haven't been doing well and doing Let's Plays might stop my channel growth.

I plan to do a gameplay/walkthrough for Resident Evil: Revelations this Tuesday regardless, but I want opinions on what I should do. Here is a taste of my Let's Play style if you want an example:

I hate adding that part because it sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm not. It's just to show that I've put a lot of work into my channel and take it very seriously, it's context.
