After several weeks of pre-development and planning, I finally finished my first vlog. It is an introduction of vlogs to come. Check it out here and if you have any suggestions or constructive criticism, please let me know!

Hey nice first video :) it's quite similar to the one I posted last week.

Camera and audio quality could be better, but you're working with all you got and no one's going to expect you to go out and buy new equipment when you're just starting. Fortunately I already had a good camera. I need to fix my audio, but I don't have the money to do that right now, so for now I'm just going to have to speak louder. :p

But just a few tips, frame the camera better so it doesn't cut off the top of your head, and if possible put the light behind the camera so we can't see it.

Hope this helped.

Awesome first vlog! It was really great. The only thing I would say you could do to make it even better next time is 1) Add a second light. Having just the one light makes a really harsh line down the center of your face and leaves the right side in a shadow. A second light would just help evenly light it and make it look a bit softer. 2) There were a few parts where you were talking a little quietly... and trust me, I have trouble with this ALL the time! I will be editing a video and realize I start talking too softly. I am constantly reminding myself to over act a bit when talking to a camera. Keep up the good work!

This was a good first vlog! Like mentioned above, the video quality cool be a little bit better, but apart from that, Good job! :)

Thanks everyone for the replies. I really appreciate all your help. I realized that the video quality was pretty bad, and I went into looking for reasons why it was like that because it is supposed to record in full hd. Turns out that after looking looking online, I hadnt taken the small piece of plastic that comes on it off. Thats why it was grainy, next video should be better about that.
