MUST READ/watch especially for gamers

I Love YTtalk
I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this, but I thought it would be helpful for people to look this up, especially gamers but it can apply to a lot of other people to. I won't post the link to the video as I'm unsure of whether I should or not but if you search up "This video is no longer available: The Day One Garry's Incident Incident" by Totalbiscuit you'll see the video I'm talking about.

Basically what people need to be aware of is that even legitimate companies can and will abuse content ID claims. And it also shows you that someone as big as TotalBiscuit wasn't even safe from it, he was more fortunate having a network to back him but for some other users on here not so much. This means that even people like PewDiePie can even be targeted, what's worse is that TB is a real critique and uses his right to fair use well. This is also to get the message out there that people need to be more aware of their rights, otherwise they will get taken advantage of and possibly destroyed.

Helpful post, thanks!
You're welcome. I think more people need to know about this and how easy it is for companies to just do this. YouTube really need a new system in place to fix the false claims from false companies and the false claims from even real companies.

This gets me so freaking mad. Like really? Just because they say something you don't like you DO NOT take that f*****g video down uuuuurrrrgggg .-.

Yeah, the sad part tho its not just with youtube. Game devs and everyone, pays for reviews and if they don't like it they get it taken down.

And that my friends, is what happens when a Developer gets angry because no one likes their game.

Ahh... I saw the video on the front page of YouTube yesterday (either yesterday or Saturday), but was too lazy to click it and see what it was about. It does sound messed up though. Taking down a video because somebody said something bad about their product. :/

the real alarm bells that ring for me tho aren't from TB or the game devs, its how YT deals with this, and doesent have a real person to judge these claims or give you any recourse if problems arise or mistakes are made. I really feel for the guys that make YT their 'job', cause theres no security in it and all the garbage like this you have to deal with must suck the life out of it.
