Musician collab videos

Hi,

Have any of the musicians in here created a collab video in the past?

What kinds of techniques did you use to work with other people, beyond simply meeting up in person and filming yourselves.

Were you able to do something live across the internet? or did you record separate parts and bring them together later?

I'm just curious to know what's available out there, that could be used.

I've got a project at the moment that I will be pitching to some of the big youtube artists soon. What I have done, is recorded the track and mixed it, made an interesting video for it already too. All the other person will need to do is sing their part in front of a webcam(at minimum) and send it back to me so I can edit it all together.

Give them as little work as you possibly can, that way its easier for them to say yes.
