Hi guys

you all know thirdparty copyright claim.
where the real owner of the video will get the ads money from the video you upload.

Anyone of you have succesfully tried that?
having your own video, reuploaded by someone and you got the ads money from the video he uploaded?

No, I haven't. For that, you either have to have a song on itunes or something that gets noticed, or you have to be approved for the content id program. Only the really big channels get this, because for us smaller channels not only are the odds of getting copied really low, and if they do, it'll get you less views. Besides, this wlil happen most often for music, and I already said that's taken care of with itunes/amazon mp3 or any other form of media store.

You mean if someone steals your video and uploads it on their channel?

If you are to partner with a network (who have a content_id matching system)

The video would either i) be left there ii) be struck down with a copyright strike iii) stay up but you earn all the money ; Depending on that network`s settings.

Or if you arn`t in a network you can ask YouTube to remove the video here : http://www.youtube.com/yt/copyright/copyright-complaint.html but it may take a while for them to read your request.
