Monetizing videos once partnered

Hey all,
Was just wondering once partnered (I recently partnered with Fullscreen :) ) do i have to manually monetize the videos that i want monetized or will fullscreen automatically monetize them? Before partnering i did not have any videos monetized through youtube, even though i had the ability to.

you need to monetise them when the new montization symbol shows up. if all the squares are grey you need to turn them green again
 
You got to monetize them by claiming them. (Pretty much the same process as monetizing them).
 
You can claim videos that you made ages ago, but you shouldn't claim videos that you don't have rights to, no matter when they were made, yes.

quick question (i know it is slighly off topic sorry) What is the difference between claiming visual, audio or visual and audio? Is it exactly how it sounds? That you can claim you own the right of just the video, just the audio or both? Thanks
