I dont restrict it, mainly because i want all of the views i can get, if i restrict it to just monetized than i would get significantly less views. This only is really effective for people who are getting about 5,000+ views a day, for smaller channels it might just drive people away.
 
Thats kinda what I was thinking, if i try to watch one on my phone and it wont let me... I dont really say o i will watch this when i get home lol
 
I guess if you were a bigger channel with active subscribers, you would get more monetizable views as instead of watching it on their phones and tablets, once they get home they'll then watch the videos
