Monetization Questions (Game Videos)

Being a YouTube comedy/gaming channel which is about a month old, we have a lot of questions about monetization.

We are slowly gaining subscribers and views and are having a fun time making funny gaming videos for people to enjoy.

We're putting in a LOT of hours on this project and want to do things properly.

Our questions are mostly about monetization at this time...

1) It is apparent that EA games and Lucas Arts games just won't get monetized anymore. Is this the findings of others?

2) Most of our videos get monetized right away. Lately, others, even Minecraft videos, are being placed under review and then we're asked for proof of copyright. Are we being flagged by someone or is this a YouTube filter which is picking something up? We have no in-game Minecraft music and the intro/outro was done by us.

3) Now...we have done a ton of research about copyright and gaming videos. We add the required texts to the description and reply to the request with that description again. We made the intro/outro music to our videos and state this in our replies (all in the way most forums recommend). Is this usually enough to please them?

4) Do people get videos approved after emailing partner support (in the proper manner)? What is the timeline to wait before emailing partner support?

5) A big question we're trying to figure out: We are a mostly adult-themed comedy gaming channel. We swear SOMEtimes...We also use "dirty" titles for our videos sometimes. Example "You Bring the Harem" or "p**s On Your Shoe" or "Thanks for Crothing me!"...etc. Does anyone know if "dirty" content or titles precludes videos from monetization?

Any other help with monetization would be appreciated.

Below is a video with a 'dirty' title for example.

Thanks for any help,

with gaming videos there's a lot of confusion about monetizing them, it seems for most games, to monetize them you have to be partnered with a network that has the express permission of the company that makes the games to be allowed monetisation on a gaming video. that or get the permission yourself, which is a near impossible task.

Interesting. I've been reading a lot about partnering and don't think it's right for us at this time. It's almost like signing with a record label for a band...Pros and cons I guess. We'd rather not be confined to partner requirements/schedules at this time.

The other part to this is that our most recent Minecraft video needed proof of copyright...

just like signing a record label you want to find the best for fit you, your right big network do ask a lot of you. but if you find medium/small size network they dont require a lot, all they really care about is that your uploading something on your channel.

Most of the time you are going to have to be partnered with a gaming network like Machinima or Yeousch if you want to monetize your gaming videos.
