Monetization question

Hey all ;)

I have been noticing something about monetization and I'm just wondering if I'm just seeing things :p
I experienced this myself and I've seen it with some of my friends.

Is it possible that if you don't monetize your video when uploading it and wait for 6-8 weeks and then monetize it that it would be more or less automatically accepted for monetization?
With my first video I didn't monetize it until 6 weeks and 1 day after the upload date and the video got accepted within 20 minutes. Ever since I haven't experienced a video get accepted within 2-3 days.

My friend which haven't begun monetizing since recently experienced that all of his 20+ videos that wasn't uploaded within the last 6 weeks got monetized within 30 minutes. The 2 videos he had that was uploaded within 6 weeks prior, did not get accepted.


So, am I just seeing things or is there something to this? Or is it all just a weird coincidence?

Can anyone shed some light on this? :)
 
Yeah I had that problem before I got partnered, I think its just randomly if YT wants to monetize it or not. Some of my videos would get monetize right away and others never did.

When my videos did not accepted for monetized, or the video have warning to prove the owner, copyrights or something. Just delete the videos, edit your current videos and render again. Use different videos title. Upload, don't write the descriptions and Tags. When the videos monetized already accepted. Write the videos description and Tags. Good Luck.
 
Absolutely agree with the above! Make the title something like "untitled.mp4" and leave desc/tags empty your videos get monetized faster. Luckily YouTube use to put legacy (pre-April 12, 2012) partners on a type of auto-monetize level so we didn't have to wait a day or so for them to be approved and they still do this thank god. I hate waiting on other accounts of mine :p
