Monetization Help!?

Hey guys I upload call of duty videos, and have recently started monetizing them. The only problem is after it's uploaded I get the frustrating email telling me that the video I uploaded can't be monetized because I don't have "commercial use rights". Then I thought everybody uploads call of duty videos! and on my old channel, I monetized my cod videos with no problem! Although monetizing videos when I don't have a partnership doesn't do much, it is still frustrating. Please help me out!

Without being partnered with a network YouTube seems very....confused about if it wants to let you monetise a series or not. I was allowed to monetise one F1 2012 video with MoD, but not the one that followed it, but then I COULD monetise the next two. So until I'm partnered I've just disabled monetisation since it saves me hassle in the long run.
tl;dr - YouTube is picky and nobody knows it's criteria, your best bet is to get partnered with a network
