Monetization Country Issue

I've Got It
Hey friends! I have an issue.

I was uploading a new video last night and I noticed I didn't have a monetization tab. I checked my channel settings and clicked the monetization button to reveal the message: "This feature is currently not available in your country".

Now, I'm a YouTube 'Partner', in good standing, and I live and access my account from the United States. I've tried multiple browsers, and multiple computers. I even verified my 'country' is set to 'Worldwide' and my 'language' is 'English(US)'. My other channels have monetization working just fine.

What am I missing here?

Has your adsense ever been disabled on this channel or another for i) invalid clicks ii) view botting

Go to your Channel click Edit near About me and check it's set to United States. I've heard this quite a few times now though so it might be a bug.

Im nearly sure this one is an issue you have mentioned :) Country setting in "About" section.

(It has nothing to do with country IP from where youtube is accessed or "Worldwide" set up at the bottom of the page)

but who knows... Youtube bugs sometimes too :)

Bad news friends, on the new YouTube layout, this About section no longer has a 'country' setting in it.

I think it's a bug :) Just wait it out I guess, I'm seeing hundreds of threads on the YT forum
