Look at what the official response from Google regarding what mobile platforms have monetizable mobile views:

The following platforms are examples of platforms we consider monetized:
www.youtube.com
YouTube native app on Android
YouTube native app on Xbox
YouTube native app on GoogleTV
YouTube on TV (only for newer versions)

In addition to the monetized platforms mentioned above, all platforms include but are not limited to the following:
YouTube native app on iPhone, iPad
YouTube app on Apple TV
YouTube legacy app on Wii ("XL")
YouTube API-based legacy feature phones and TVsM

In some cases the YouTube mobile website (m.youtube.com) - please see examples below:
Monetized platform: YouTube mobile website (m.youtube.com) accessed from Android or iOS mobile browser

Examples of some non-monetized platforms: YouTube mobile website (m.youtube.com) accessed from a mobile device that is not Android or iOS (eg - Windows Mobile, Palm, Blackberry, Nokia).
 
Yep, I've noticed ads recently on my Galaxy S3, I'd be interested to know when exactly the mobile ads kicked in so I can see what effect it's been having on recent revenue changes.
