monetarization

It is, simply, the ability to earn money for your videos in exchange for people viewing ads placed on them by youtube.
Normally it's about 1 to 5 cents per view/click.
Once you hit $100 you will get a check.
When you are partnered, you earn more, or so I hear.

the normal with adsense is 5-10 cents i found, with a partner other than ad sense you earn less money but you get branding features and a audio library. It also allows you depending on the network you join post certain content you cant with other networks.

Youtube is seriously jipping me then, lol
 
if your a smaller channel they could be taking more revenue.. check your revenue share in the account section of adsense... think mine was 69% when i was with them
