Other MINECRAFT! Server and General Mods!

Yo guys!!!

So, I am Kira, if you have not already met me ;) I just wanted to start a general topic about minecraft as I am completely getting obsessed with it now. And now that I am moving back to Australia in a few months, I will be mainly doing games on my channel. So I have been focusing on mods and servers.

My question to you: What are your favourite mods and or servers?

Also, I am currently building a server which the website is on my video called kcCraft. I am super excited to get that going and once it does, I will invite everyone here to join. We can do some vids together and events and things. So any suggestions, I am open.

Glad to hear you are obsessed it is truly a wonderful game! I haven't stopped playing since I bourght it back in beta!

Server's? Really if the people are nice, friendly, welcoming and not horrid people who break everything any server is good, I honestly feel that servers should be like a little families (but I'm just odd *skips away*)

Mod side of things, bukkit mods are pretty helpful on any server but need a little setting up sometimes, also boundries are pretty good, ones that allow only say one person to build on one spot and then people can request to build on the same location. I'm just going off things I have seen from other servers that have been enjoyable and helpful, not sure the location of said things!

Honestly looking forward to checking out the server when it is complete! I was excited about it simply from your introduction video!
 
i have not played minecraft in a long time (plz dont kill me with the deathnote). and the times i did play online i was mostly mod or admin on servers (which is fun :p), ive never done a lot with mods but there is a mod that give all creatures a little hat, and when you kill them you get that hat to wear as decoration. its pretty cool :p
this potatoOrgy guy on youtube uses it a lot lately. also my favorite servers (that ive never played on btw) are probaly beastcraft and mongoose country, just because of the great community :p

I play a bit of Minecraft here and there. I am currently on a server which belongs to a fairly small YouTuber and is quite well managed in terms of griefing. I rarely play on the really big PVP servers because there is a huge amount of people that camp at spawn at don't allow you to escape it.

For mods, I rarely play any mods on my single-player, but quite like the mcstats plugin for servers. It takes a bit of time to configure, I believe, but it allows you to level-up skills and gain rewards, like double drops, for doing so. I am also quite interested in Factions, which allows people to work in groups, claim land, and makes for some pretty interesting battles and shizz.

deathnote is like one of the best anime's ive seen so far, but yeah, i still have to go and watch naruto, one piece, dragonball and dragonball GT. i will be occupied this summer :p

Also check out Full Metal Alchemist, the books, as the anime is just.... *sudders* awful! D;
 
Alpha dude signing in. I have played on a Tekkit server and have tried various mods before, but prefer the feel of vanilla Minecraft. To that end I only use Optifine and Better Animations. If I'm running a server I'll have ChopTree or equivalent plugin installed, and that's it.
