Made my OWN banner for New Design. How is it?

I made my banner with paint.net Here is the whole banner as per the requirements:


This looks so weird to me. WTH? It looks much better on my computer screen. Here's the screenshot.


So how is it? Will it do. I know its pretty basic but I'm no graphic designer. I guess I'm happy with it for now. I even made that yellow background myself so I wouldn't get any copyright infringement nonsense. Lol.

It looks pretty good, I would only change this background green color to something more darker, and not so eyes attacking. Well done!

Is this color green one of those colors that hurt peoples eyes? I want it to be bright because I just like bright colors and I wanted green because it kinda screams natural which is the kind of stuff I talk about. Maybe I could go a deeper green.....when I get the energy to try it again. Lol. Thanks.

I just though of a little darker green, dont need to change it too much. Bright colors are cool, but not too bright!

That's funny. I actually think the picture looks all stretched out. I was gonna go back in and squish the picture until my nose looked like it really does but decided against it. Thanks for letting me know. I'll check that out.
