MACHINIMA contract offerd but scared to sign..

Hi there, I was wondering do you know more about M. and there contracts, i was offerd one from M. to join them, with a 60/40% & 3 years contract but i'm scared to join them because all i read is the 'CUTS at Machinima' etc, i know they are big and good for gamers but still all the news scares me.

In the contract they dont say anything about the cuts, what you get as cpm/RPM etc, is that normal? My channel gets around 400k views a month and with adsense i used to earn a few euros a month, so not bad for a hobby but still cuts and geting stucked for 3 years is scary..

So whats new about Machinima and the cuts, is it for all, new and old partner? Should they inform me about it when sighning or tell me at least what kind of rpm i would get etc? Please help me out a little before i do something and must regret it for 3 years :)

Don`t sign a three year contract with anyone!

They have close to no licenses for gamers, try Viso, Vultra, Leet Network, TGS or N4Gtv instead.
 
Machinima is a big effing no.
Dont even think about it, i put them on the same level as awesomenessTV.

I'd try looking for a shorter contract than 3 years to start off.

yeah 3 years is a long time. but i also know people who are happy with them and done the same contract again after theire 3 years!

no thats not right. in the meantime they have nearly all gaming licence. and in the meantime they also got a dashboard to watch youre stats and earnings.

in my contrayt dosnt stand something about cut and cpm too. but maybe because there isnt a fix cpm. i would imagine you has nearly the same like befor with just more audience and features.

If you think Machinima have "nearly all gaming licence" your crazy.
 
I wouldn't reccomend machinima due to the fact they let go of so many of their smaller channels but if you joined there is a stigma of being a machinima partner that will promote your channel for you :)
 
First of all, congratulations on how many views you get, that's just awesome, secondly don't do it, a lot of people are now moving away from machinima which kinda tells you something!? Just find someone else that can do it for you!
 
Thnx for all info :) still it's all crazy, i know from the past everyone was dreaming of Machinima and now.. it's all dark clouds above the name.

And when when offerd a conract by any network, even without a fixed cpm, shouldnt they give you a idea of what your gonna get ?
