Well I know what I'm doing on the whole youtube front, whenever I get around to doing it that is, and while I was happily getting 100 views on each of mah videos in close to only a few days, it seems that they have stopped there, (aside from my one Slender video reaching 1000).

And while I am still eager on making some new videos, I was curious on how you guys went about getting some subscribers to yourself? Any good place to advertise or spread the word?

Quality content, variety, and networking are just some of the things that's a must if you want to be successful in the Youtube community.
Engage with your audience and other channels. Spread love and you'll get it back. Don't ever be selfish!
Be consistent and have personality! It goes a long way.
Be willing to give back to your supporters like holding contests (for example).
I recommend reading the Youtube Creator's Playbook. It has great advice and will help you build a bigger, better audience.
