...over the head with a 2x4, but they were okay with it because my content is just that awesome. My arm's really sore, now.

Congrats bro. How long has it taken you?
Channel started July 1, 2006.

Up until November 2013, I only used it for hosting several bragging videos about how I beat the toughest enemies in Final Fantasy 7 and 8 and the Kingdom Hearts games, funny Star Trek clips I found, and other random things that I wanted to be able to link people to.

From November 2013 to March 2015 I used it for hosting videos demonstrating progress I was making on mods I was creating for the 1997 RTS game Total Annihilation.

In October 2014, I discovered PewDiePie and other Let's Players for the first time and decided to get in on the action. I LPed 2 older games, then did half of another when I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do.

Also at this time I found the "X in G-Major" meme and modified it into what I call "Horror Version". I made several of these and didn't intend to do very many more.

During all that time, my subscribers bounced back and forth between 0 and under 100. I never paid attention to it.

On January 29, 2015 I uploaded my Frozen - Let It Go one and by March 31st it had 54k views. I had around 100 subs. It then got suggested on a Let It Go video by a really popular channel and I had 1,000 subscribers on April 18.

Since then, I averaged 600 subs a month for the rest of 2015, double that per month in 2016, and this year's monthly rate is looking about double that. During 2015 I changed the theme of my channel to be just the Horror Version one and almost all my videos are requests from viewers. Halfway through 2016 I started uploading daily.
