Excuse the overdramatic title :smug:

Anyways.... ;P Here is my newest cover with my new camera! I got a zoom Q2HD camera and accessory pack for christmas! Great camera for 1080p on a budget by the way (around $199.99). Anyways this is PRAYER OF THE REFUGE - by RISE AGAINST! One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. See description for set up! I'd appreciate feedback (preferably constructive criticism) on recording techniques, video effects, and sound quality.

Watch in 1080p!

Oh it's a cool song from a great band indeed. ^^ Nice playing aswell, saying this as a fellow guitarist. :p

Concerning feedback on the technical part of the video - maybe you could buy an USB audio interface in order to improve the quality of the sound? It's also neat the way it is right now but why not make it better, huh? :p And it would allow you to record your audio through some guitar/amp simulator (I use Guitar Rig for example) so you could mess with the effects and also record multiple guitar tracks. ^^ Just a tip though. :p

Thank you for the feedback! I own an audiobox usb 2x2 interface which i love. i use logic pro to multitrack and amplitube 3 as an amp sim! I just prefer to use a real amp mic'd with an sm57 when I can, but amplitube gets me some pretty awesome tonez too when I need a djent tone or good fendery blues tone (something I can't really do with my orange) or when im playing at night and can't crank the power tubes. I've recorded a lot of other songs with an amp sim like this one with a lepou lecto sim!
