i have 3 video's all monetised, but i was reading a thread where somebody wasn't earning a lot over a long period of time, so what is the point in it?
 
Maybe there's no point at all. Or maybe it could benefit you over a long period of time. Personally I don't see the sense in monetizing a video if you expect no more than a few hundred views a month on it. Save viewers the trouble of an advertisement until you're getting enough views a day to pull in more than a few pennies here and there? That's just one take on it though. To each their own. :)
 
You monetized but you don't have much of an audience yet. You'll earn like a penny. Wait until you're a bigger channel, and partnered.
 
Well your channel is not very big, you only have 3 subscribers and 10 views. It takes a lot of monetized views to earn money. For an example; If you have a $10 CPM, you will get $10 for every 1,000 monetized view. For most networks, you will need to reach $100 before you get paid. I would wait until your channel gets a bit bigger and you start getting more daily views to monetize them. Right now there really is no point.
