Is it a bad idea to use competitors channel names as tags on my videos?

Is it a bad idea to use my top competitors channel names as tags on my videos? (In the 'Tags' Section, not hashtags) In hopes of ranking in search results when someone searches for my top competitors channels.

Is this a bad idea? Can that be harmful?

I wouldn't try that man YT values these 2 things:
Watch-time
Click-rate

When people search for someone's name, its because they want content from THAT person.
If people see your video, they might blow over it, because they specifically asked for your competitor, not you.
This will dampen your click-rate and will be less likely to be recommended to future viewers. Take this from a
veteran with an amazing 0 subs

(keep in mind that tags arent as important as they were in old youtube days they still important but not as much.
