Hello, I am trying to learn a bit about how the whole being a YouTuber works.
My 7 year old son decided he wanted to start making YouTube videos a while back so I figured why no it'll help him learn about video editing and what not.
He plays PC games and records his gameplay and some other things.
Today, my 7 year old basically on his own reached 1000 views on his channel. Now I know there's tons of people with millions of views but I'm so proud of our little guy!
It got me thinking, maybe he could really turn his hobby into something that opens doors to his future.

So my question, how common is it someone gets 1000 views?
Does anything happen when a channel reaches the 1000 view mark?
He doesn't have many subscribers, can I use the views to somehow help him promote and gain subscribers?

Anything I need to know that I'm not asking?
