It might not be the most suitable category for a post like this, but I just wanted to share my excitement here!
The YT stream averaged 15 concurrent viewers and my peak was around 24 at one point. There were 3-7 more viewers watching a Discord live-stream as well, so still, that's less than 30 concurrent viewers total. The audio was terribly out of sync with webcam due to my own frickup while I was fiddling with Streamlabs settings. I was in a large university classroom with lots of echo - I had to compromise cuz my home Internet connection has crappy upload speed. Visuals were a bit wonky too.
Despite all of that, people that followed and supported me for a long time gathered and dumped some fat $100, $50 and $20 donations. With less than 30 viewers, that's absolutely nuts. Now it's time to purchase necessities for these kids and orphans.
