I don't understand gross split.

I Love YTtalk
First of all sorry if this thread has already been made, however I couldn't find it.

My question is about the gross split that Fullscreen does, because if you look on your dashboard at the split, you can see (not my metrics, just random numbers for the purpose of the thread) that they say they get 20% and you get 80% (net revenue I believe) however don't they take more than that!?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, however I never really understood it, and stupid as I am I never read my contract either.

Gross split what the partner actually gets after staff wags and rent etc is taken out.
Net split (with Youtube networks) is a sad excuse to say you have a higher split when you actually don`t....

they take that money so they earn something for themselves. They can't offer all these services for nothing. You'll find that being partnered also gives you a LOT of benefits too. They are always being advertised by the network so choose what you think is best and do some research.
Hope that's helpful :)
