How To Increase The Percentage Of Monetized Views?

Hello all,

I've been having an issue with several of my YouTube accounts. I've monetized all of my videos with ads, yet I'm getting very few monetized views.

I get about 5000 views a month (I know it's not a lot, but still) yet I'm getting less than 500 monetized views a month. Surely I should be getting more than 10%?

About 80% of my traffic comes from mobile devices or tablets, is that the entire problem? I thought that the YouTube app was updated to allow pre-roll ads.

Id say the 80% mobile views isnt helping. Im getting about 24% on mobile so i would say that 80% is pretty high. The money really comes from watching the Ads on computers.

Yes, that's the problem. And yes, there are ads on the app, but 97% of ads on YouTube are shown on desktop and only 2% on mobile.[DOUBLEPOST=1382474535,1382474341][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, 80% is rather high. Overall 40% of YouTube's views are mobile.
