How To Improve My YouTube Channel?

Hey guys I'm looking for some recommendations on how to improve my YouTube channel. My first videos sucked pretty bad, but my newest ones have improved lighting and I worked on editing. My main reason for asking is because my subscriber to view ratio is pretty low.

Please share so insight on what you do to make your channel great. Please don't be afraid to voice your opinions; I would like all the help I can get. Also, does anyone have any recommendations on how to make an intro? I currently use FCP X for editing on my MBP. I've also tried looking for some uncopyrighted music, but most of its kind've lame.

Thanks.

there are plenty of people that would be willing to make you an intro or let you use their music here:

Your channel background doesn't really work for lower resolution screens, I can only see a little more than half of the apple and android logos.
you can make your descriptions more... descriptive, put some of the points you talk about in the descriptions so it's actually a description for your video
leave the tags in the tags section, that's what the section is for.

do you script your videos? It seems like your videos would benefit from that.

I've scripted one or two videos. I agree that I should definitely do that. Thanks for the advice.

Get rid of adverts for a start, they will only deter viewers away at this early stage. Your videos are of good quality, just keep up the good work and dedication.
Then when you start getting bigger you can start to monetise, at a such an early stage people won't be bothered with watching the video coz of the ad, and as ads tend to only make real money with thousands of views - no point.
Thats my 2 cents anyway.

I agree with everything you said except ads. I get around 3,500+ views per day.
