Hi,
Is there a method that I can force the existing videos on my channel to be rescanned by Content ID?
I have started publishing my music to streaming platforms via aggregation/distribution service. In case of Youtube, an automatic artist "topic channel" is created and the audio is added to the Content ID recognition library.
According to Youtube's "help", the videos added to Youtube prior to that situation (like my music videos I uploaded onto my channel before it was officially distributed), are going to be scanned gradually in unspecified future, in order to classify them as containing copyrighted material and allowing to be monetized by the copyright holder. My channel is not yet big enough to be eligible for monetizing by myself, so effectively, until the rescan happens, nobody gets money for playing my videos on my channel.
