those guys are pretty popular and monetize their vids.

but they are playing minecraft without commentary so how they are allowed to do it?

Correct. They also have some minor restrictions on this that you agree to abide by so you should look it up.

I remember Youtube dudes had a meeting with Markus Persson about him getting part of revenue from Minecraft vids, but he refused and said something like it's a "free advertisement"
