How much money can you earn in these situations?

1. Can you earn any money singing if you only cover songs and not any original songs?
2. If you upload vlogging and get 50,000 hits for a video and you upload a video a week, how much can you earn? (I just want to get a feel for how many hits earning how much money)

It can vary depending on who you are partnered with.

1. You'll need to get permission from the rights holder to the song (they're less inclined to give it if you're monetizing and will be entitled to require a cut of anything you make if they want)

2. It's not that simple. Different networks give different rates, and your viewer base will vary how your ads perform etc. etc. At $4 CPM with 60% of your views monetized (a ballpark figure for average) maybe $120

1. You`d need to be a network with sufficient licenses (Fullscreen has a good few)
2. If 75% of those views were monetizable, you`d get 37.5 - 150$ on average ;)
1. For example Megan Nicole got millions of views from her cover of "You don't know you're beautiful" originally sung by One Direction. How much might have she earned from that?

Views per video is not a good way to measure revenue. If you are getting 50k views per video and uploading once per week, you will probably be getting at least 100k more views per week from older uploaded videos, for example.

If the total number is 50k per week or 200k views per month, that would work out to roughly $1000 per month using very rough assumptions. (50% monetized views, $4 cpm after youtube cuts/network cuts, if any)

Yes you can monetize cover songs if you are with Fullscreen under FAM but you should make your own version and don't use copyrighted tracks.
