How can I edit videos without downloading a program?

I have an Asus chromebook. They don't really allow for downloading programs. You can get addons and some programs from the chrome extensions button. But nothing really good for editing. I ask because I'm using the youtube editor but it hasn't really been smooth sailing. I don't show my face on the videos but rather rely on a slideshow of pictures. But adding them into the youtube editor can be pretty tedious because it keeps restarting. so when you are closer to the end of the video it becomes really hard to use the youtube editor fast. Does anyone know of an online site or a program compatible with a Chromebook that edits basic stuff effectively?

You could try the youtube in built editor after you have uploaded the video but fair warning, it's notoriously bad and people use edit software for a reason. Personally, at least get yourself Windows Media Movie maker or if your on a Mac, there is always imovie.

yeah im currently using the youtube editor. it's pretty tedious. As I said I have a Chromebook. It's basically meant to be a cheap laptop that gets you on the internet but not really powerful and you can't really download programs. I got it cause my previous laptop died and i needed a cheap and fast one.
