How can I change how my videos are shown on the front page?

my channel looks like this

how can i change and make it look like this:
/stylebylucci (i needed this as example, sorry!)

With a "featured video" showing up on my channel and a "Recent uploads" playlist?

Do I need to have more videos uploaded? or do I need to be part of a network? I tried to look into all the channel (advanced) options and nothing seems to let me organize my channel like this. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Go to your channel page and at the bottom right corner of your channel art click on that pencil icon and select "Edit channel navigation". Now at the very top of the window that pops up, enable the Browse view. Now you can add a channel trailer and playlists. :)
