Hey Guys What Do You Think Of My Avatar and Background

I went through thousands of pictures before I choose only two, I feel like those 2 pictures help to label what you stand for so I wanted something neutral and no to much toward one subject but also represent what type of channel I have. I have no idea if I accomplished that but I tried let me know what you guys think. Thanks
 
At least you should change the blue background color to a brown/golden like the color of your avatar's helmet. My opinion ;)
 
You should change the background to black or a similar color of blue to make the bottom half of the transition smoother.
I like the avatar but I must admit that it doesn't match very well with the current background. Is there a way to change the avatar's face shield to have a blueish tint? It may match better that way since --with branding--you want to associate similar images/themes together.

the Avatar is pretty epic, background is also quite nice.
 
Wow guys thanks for all the great input, really helpful and I agree with you guys the background does not much my avatar (but I do love my avatar ) once again thanks for all the great input. I will begin my search for a new background even though they wont be around much longer. Thanks
 
Very nice avatar!
The background could use some more work.

If you're staying with the lightning, you should make it clearer and not so blurry.
